Many of our highly skilled workforce have a grounding in the conventional pre-computer days of print and repro.

They have been solving the varied problems and requirements of print production for many years. Our ongoing investment programme allows us to use the ever changing technology to further enhance our own already considerable innovative skills.

Pre-Press

Our 24 hour pre-press department is excellently equipped and our staff have great expertise. Each project is discussed at its inception as to the best way to achieve the clients desired effects and result.

Whether it is drum scanning, high-end picture manipulation or colour retouching we have the knowledge to meet your requirements. Many of our retail customers are taking the opportunity to ask us to colour match images to their actual products/garments and we have achieved great success in this field.

It is, of course, of utmost importance that the printed result matches the product as closely as possible. We are expert in bridging the gap between the photographed and the actual product with subtle retouching to eradicate lighting or shading defects that are all too often detrimental to a product.

We have also developed a number of plate profiles for coated and uncoated materials. This ensures that we achieve the optimum quality and detail, tailor made for the paper, enabling us to produce improved results on the latest recycled, environmentally friendly materials.

Small Offset

We are a major supplier of business and corporate stationery. We are able to keep our prices extremely competitive because, unlike many of our competitors, we have the correct machinery for the job.

It is often the case in a busy working environment, where you are busy striving to supply the needs of others, that it is all too easy to forget your own. How many times have you been told that you have run out of a particular item of stationery? Your staff have been too busy to notice you were running low.

We can help, for example, holding frequently ordered items in stock and ensuring that we always have a supply to deliver, instantly. We also hold supplies of manufacturers mixed ink to ensure Corporate colours are consistent in shade throughout your range of products.

Keeping in line with our ongoing commitment to the environment, we have recently converted our small offset machines to print alcohol free.

Large Offset

We are part of the Spin Offset Group, established for nearly 30 years and have ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 9002 (Quality Management) accreditation.

With a 12 Colour Heidelberg B1 Perfecting press capable of printing 6 colours both sides of the sheet in a single pass and a 6 colour Heidelberg B1 SM102, we have the fire power to keep up with modern day print schedules. Both machines are linked into a pre-press interface which enables the transfer of cip3 information and dramatically reduces make ready times. An Axis Control system ensures consistency of colour from sheet to sheet. This coupled with automatic "Inkline" inking and our bespoke "plate for paper" profiles means that we can quickly and cost effectively achieve a printed result beyond your expectations.

In House Finishing

We can also boast a comprehensive finishing plant with folding, stitching, trimming, shrink-wrapping, drilling, wiro and comb binding plus hand finishing in house. These facilities allow us to maintain strict quality and timing control.

We also have a wealth of experience with other finishing processes such as foil blocking, embossing, die cutting/laser cutting, thermo and just about anything else you could want.
